Mammoth tooth fossil discovered in Jilin
From:Xinhua??Writer:??Date:2018-06-24
A resident in northeast China's Jilin Province recently found a fossil which archaeologists believe is the tooth of a mammoth.

The fossil was found at a construction site in the provincial capital Changchun.

Chen Quanjia, an official with the Palaeontological Society of China, said that China's northeastern areas were mammoth habitats.

He also said Changchun is planing to build a mammoth and woolly rhinoceros fossil museum.
